Oscars 2023: “Everything, Everywhere All At Once” foi o grande vencedor da noite

A 95ª. edição das premiações da Academia aconteceu esta noite, no maior palco de Los Angeles. Depois das polémicas do ano passado, desde o estalo de Will Smith à transmissão offline das categorias técnicas, muito se falou sobre o que poderia acontecer na cerimónia deste ano. No entanto, a transmissão acabou por ser pacífica e quase monótona, mesmo contando com um interessante painel de nomeados e apresentadores.

Basta ver as últimas premiações da 7ª Arte e a crítica geral para perceber que grande parte das apostas estavam numa das mais recentes produções da A24: “Everything, Everywhere All At Once“, protagonizado por Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu e Jamie Lee Curtis. Desde que estreou, o filme consegui captar bastante atenção e um carinho especial por quem dele faz parte e claro, por quem o assistiu. Um dos candidatos mais fortes foi “The Whale“, com Brendan Fraser no papel principal e sendo também esta uma das produções mais aguardadas e comentadas da A24.

Mesmo com Jimmy Kimmel a guiar a noite, a emoção habitual da noite dourada não se fez sentir. Provavelmente, de modo a evitar os conflitos que pautaram o ano anterior, a duração do evento foi reduzida e tornou-se quase um disparar de categorias e dos seus vencedores. Raros foram os momentos de entretenimento, com exceção das performances de Rihanna, Lady Gaga e da música “Naatu Naatu”, do filme “RRR”. Contudo, é seguro afirmar que este ano contou com fortes candidatos aos vários prémios e ainda poderia haver surpresas, algo que acabou por não acontecer.

O grande vencedor da noite, sem grandes surpresas, acabou por ser “Everything, Everywhere All At Once“, somando um total de sete prémios. Seguiu-se a aposta da Netflix, “All Quiet on the Western Front“, que saiu vencedora em quatro categorias. Êxitos como “Tár”, “The Banshees of Inisherin” e “The Fabelmans” não conseguiram destacar-se na premiação e terminaram a noite sem nenhuma estatueta. Para além disso, a curta-metragem de animação portuguesa, “Ice Merchants” também não vingou na sua categoria.

Com resultados previsíveis mas satisfatórios, a celebração terminou ainda antes das 4 da manhã, em Portugal. A maior noite do cinema foi transmitida e comentada na RTP1. Conheça abaixo os vencedores da edição deste ano.
